This week, I’ll discuss the Marriott STARS and Marriott LUMINOUS Program in greater detail and how it can add tremendous value for your next Marriott hotel stay (when paying a cash rate and not using points)
What is Marriott STARS & Marriott LUMINOUS?
Marriott STARS and Marriott LUMINOUS is an exclusive benefits program for travel advisors to offer extra amenities and perks on paid stays at luxury Marriott brands to their clients.
This program operates similarly to other invitation-only programs such as Hilton Impresario, Rosewood Elite Partner, Belmond Bellini, Hyatt Prive and more.
Many people aren't aware of these types of programs, but this hotel benefit program is reserved for a select few travel agencies/advisors that offers travelers great value-added benefits and amenities that can't be secured on your own. Member travel agencies within these programs have the privilege of offering their clients exceptional perks and amenities akin to those enjoyed by travelers with hotel elite status.
And even if you have hotel elite status that unlocks great value-added benefits, Marriott STARS and LUMINOUS can still go above and beyond, by providing special offers and even better value-added benefits (or combine the best of both!)

$100 property credit per stay (only valid at Marriott Luminous brands that opt to provide the Enhanced Program Benefit)

It is a great program for discerning travelers to enjoy VIP value-added benefits without needing to necessarily achieve elite hotel status in the Marriott Bonvoy Program when staying at luxury Marriott brands.
