Making the Most of Hyatt Prive for Unforgettable Hotel Stays
Issue #23-23 of a weekly family travel newsletter from The Family Travel Guy takes a look at the Hyatt Prive Program
Hyatt Prive Guide: How to Get the Elite Experience & Make Yourself a VIP
In last week’s newsletter, I discussed tips on how to optimize your hotel stays through travel advisor only programs that can offer great benefits and value-added amenities.
This week, I’ll discuss the Hyatt Prive Program in greater detail and how it can add tremendous value for your next Hyatt hotel stay (when paying a cash rate and not using points)
What is Hyatt Prive?
Hyatt Prive is an exclusive travel advisor only program that was introduced in 2018, enabling select travel agencies to provide unique benefits to their clients who make their Hyatt bookings through them.
This program operates similarly to other invitation-only programs such as Marriott STARS, Marriott Luminous, Rosewood Elite Partner, Hilton Impresario, and more.
Member travel agencies within these programs have the privilege of offering their clients exceptional perks and amenities akin to those enjoyed by travelers with hotel elite status. And even if you have hotel elite status that unlocks great value-added benefits, Hyatt Prive can still go above and beyond providing special offers and even better value-added benefits (or combine the best of both!)
The Family Travel Guy is a Virtuoso affiliated Travel Advisor and is able to offer Hyatt Prive benefits to clients staying at eligible Hyatt brands.
What are Hyatt Prive Benefits?
Some of the benefits can vary by hotel (hotel credits, room upgrade at booking, etc), but Hyatt Prive benefits will include the following value-added amenities:
Welcome Amenity & Welcome Letter
Breakfast for Two: Guests will receive daily complimentary full breakfast at a hotel restaurant for up to two guests.
Property Credit: Valid for certain incidentals during the stay. Amount varies by hotel/brand.
Room Upgrade Priority: Potential upgrade at time of booking, based on projected hotel occupancy
Connecting Rooms Priority
Early Check-In Priority
Late Checkout Priority
There are also exclusive promotions only available to Hyatt Prive advisors that can include free nights, extra hotel credits and more. These promotions can vary depending on the hotel.
What Brands are Included in Hyatt Prive?
Park Hyatt
Miraval
Andaz
Alila
The Unbound Collection
Grand Hyatt
Thompson Hotels
Destination by Hyatt
Hyatt Regency
Hyatt Centric
JdV by Hyatt
Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva
Hyatt Prive is a great program for discerning travelers to enjoy VIP value-added benefits without needing to necessarily achieve elite hotel status in the World of Hyatt program.
