Travel Smarter, Not Harder: How a Travel Advisor Can Help You Elevate Your Vacation
Issue #14-23 features a look at how a travel advisor can help elevate your next vacation with value-added perks, benefits, expert guidance and more.
My goal is to inspire everyone to travel better, travel smarter and help optimize value for their money when traveling! A few ways I help do this is by writing about our family adventures over on the blog and offering travel booking services as a travel advisor through my own travel agency.
A travel advisor can help elevate your next vacation with value-added perks, benefits, expert guidance and more, but utilizing one isn’t for everyone.
In my opinion, here are examples of when you should consider using a travel advisor:
Booking a hotel with extras that may include daily breakfast, hotel credits, late checkout and more.
Examples include hotel programs from Virtuoso, Marriott STARS, Marriott Luminous, Hyatt Prive, Belmont Bellini, Hilton Impressario, IHG Luxury/Lifestyle and more.
Booking a cruise to gain access to extra perks and promotions that are not publicly available.
When you’re looking to maximize value for your money
Gain access to advisor only offers that may include free nights, percentage savings offers, extra hotel credits and more.
When you’re short on time and need the guidance of a travel advisor to get the job done.
When you need expertise and knowledge from someone who’s been there to help put together your travel itinerary puzzle.
I’ll be covering my areas of expertise in the coming weeks here at The Family Travel Bulletin and how I can help you travel better, travel smarter and optimize for value when it comes to booking hotels (with all the perks!), tours, cruises and more.
I’ll also discuss why I think having me book you a package vacation (hotel+flight+car) may not be the best way for me to help you elevate your travel (although I do help clients book those types of trips through wholesale suppliers like Pleasant Holidays, Classic Vacation, ALG Vacations, Delta Vacations and others)
Note: I plan on expanding on this topic in the coming weeks and wasn’t able to add more details here like I wanted to do since I’m currently traveling.
You can follow our travel adventures through Europe over on Instagram, where I try to post more frequently when I get a chance.
